In July 1996 Stirling Cryogenics has supplied a StirLIN-1 Extendible to the University of Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela. The system is used for research within the University.

Recently they have bought a second SPC-1 to extend their StirLIN-1 Extendible to become a StirLIN-2 system. Since that time the new StirLIN-2 is running succesfully, producing 21 liters per hour liquid nitrogen.
