Liquid nitrogen for more than 10 years

The Peppermill Resort Spa and Casino in Reno, USA has been operating a Stirling 4 cylinder liquid nitrogen plant for over 10 years, without any problems, to produce liquid nitrogen for their special effects at the Edge nightclub.

The plant produces over 40 liters of liquid nitrogen per hour and nowadays operates around 14-18 hrs per day, 5 days a week getting the hour counter towards 48,000 hours. This means that the plant produced more then 2,000,000 liter (528,000 gallon) of LN2 and is still going strong.
