Recently Stirling Cryogenics has supplied a modified StirLIN-4 system (liquid nitrogen production plant) for the beverage company Refriango, Luanda, Angola.
Refriango produces soft drink brands like Blue, Red Cola and Speed, the juices Tutti and Nutry, the mineral water "Pura" and the tea "Nestin", among others.
Liquid nitrogen is used in the bottling process to prevent degradation of the drinks and to increase the strength of the (plastic) bottles.
The delivered system consists of a modified StirLIN 4 system (high purity) with a 5000 liter storage tank and was successfully commissioned in February 2010.
